MEADOWLARK AIRPORT
Page 5

Our little airport. Looking from the cafe towards Old Pirate Lane and the eucalyptus grove in 1982.
This had to be the most interesting place to eat in the city. There was always someone you knew there.
The airport was off of Warner Ave. ( called Wintersburg Rd. back in the day ) Old Pirate & the grove are off of Graham Street.

Our beloved Airport Cafe. The best burgers in Huntington Beach. ( and free entertainment! )

Cropped from photo above.

1982. Looking toward Old Pirate Lane. Ralph Ricks, who lives at the end of Old Pirate parks his plane next to his house.
There are now 360 houses on this spot. The end of an era.
