This is the old pump. A lot smaller than the original above ground external pump motor.

Huntington Beach, Pirate Water Co. Fun Water Facts for 2005:

Initial hook up costs to HB city water estimated at:
$6,000 to $10,000 per house on Graham St.
$16,000 to $20,000 per house on Old Pirate Lane

Activities for the year 2005:

Contamination:
Several chlorination events,
PVC repair,
Weak joint replaced,
Well head repair,
Concrete repaired,
New vent installed,
New pump installation.

OPWC is non profit.
No members of OPWC are paid for services they perform.
All fees go to actual operational expenses.
Special assessments needed to cover major expenses.




I found this at the folks house. I'm not sure of the year, but it's nice that Pop was appreciated.
