Hello. I'm a history student who is doing an essay on family history and heritage. Decided to do a fact check on my earliest ancestor on my family tree. Didn't realise how many Runyards there were out there. Definitely have learnt some interesting info.

Thank you for the wonderful pictures of Old Pirate Lane and Meadowlark. I have lived in HB since 1967. I became a private pilot and used Meadowlark. I also remember buying milk at Ed's Dairy. I miss the old "rural" HB. It's amazing what has happened to the city in 50 years.

Hi John,
Your pictures of this area in Huntington Beach are amazing. Thank you for preserving the history of our wonderful city. Oh, by the way, your 51 Willys is pretty cool!

I live in GG but am not a native of the area. My question is if the Eucalyptis Grove was ever a picnic area?

Admin reply: ( It is now used as a picnic area! )
